Emergency First Response (EFR) is PADI®'s new emergency care program. This new format is much more streamlined and versatile. It is divided into two components: Emergency First Response (CPR) and Emergency First Response Secondary Care (First Aid). You may choose to take either program or both. These courses are designed to help you remember appropriate emergency care procedures during times of need, and encourage you to apply these procedures in assisting those needing emergency care. EFR programs are medically based, following the same priorities of care used by professional emergency care providers. These courses make learning easy by providing a non-stressful environment in which you practice and apply emergency care skills.
